Promoting Health, Wellness & Sustainability in Newark’s Lincoln Park.

The Lincoln Park Sustainable Living programs, led by the Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD), focus on promoting health, wellness, and sustainability in Newark.

The Lincoln Park Sustainable Living Community Garden, established in 2010, provides fresh, affordable, non-chemically treated produce for the local community, engaging families, youth, and seniors. The annual Community Bike Ride celebrates Newark’s rich cycling history in partnership with the Newark Bike Shop and is open to all ages. The Walkers Club, introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, brings residents together for regular walks to encourage fitness and community engagement. Yogi Fest, founded by Ty Daye, offers a day of yoga, wellness education, and live performances, promoting holistic health and mindfulness in Lincoln Park.
