Building Affordable, High-Quality Homes for Lincoln Park’s Future.
We are Community Developers. LPCCD is committed to ensuring that the Lincoln Park neighborhood has an adequate number of high-quality housing options that are affordable for families, seniors, artists, and other long-term residents.
To achieve this goal, LPCCD plans to increase housing security for residents and facilitate the development of 250 new housing units over the next few years, making it possible for families, seniors, artists, and others to call Lincoln Park their home.
Lincoln Park’s South Park Calvary Presbyterian Church is one of the oldest anchor institutions in the Lincoln Park Neighborhood and a symbol of freedom for Black, Indigenous People of Color in Newark.
The residents and stakeholders of Lincoln Park, along with the Community Assistance Preservation Corporation and LPCCD, used a Wells Fargo Regional Foundation planning grant to assess neighborhood needs, set goals, and develop a 10-year plan for its future.
Newark360 is Newark’s resident-driven 10-year Master Plan, focused on improving the city's physical form. It was developed through the Newark Forward initiative, which included virtual outreach, in-person workshops, a citywide survey, and youth engagement.
