The addresses of the four properties are:

  • 15-17 Lincoln Park – 2 one bedrooms, 4 two bedrooms and 2 three bedroom units (Top Left)
  •  39-43 Beecher Street – 2 one bedroom, 2 two bedroom and 2 three bedroom units (Top Right)
  •  65 Lincoln Park – has 10 two bedroom and 9 three bedroom units (Bottom Left)
  • 18-28 W. Kinney Street – has 8 one bedroom, 16 two bedroom and 8 three bedroom units (Bottom Right)

Rental prices start at $691 to $945 a month. The income requirement for a one-bedroom ranges from $23,520 to $35,200; for a two-bedroom income ranges from $28,260 to $43,950; and for a three-bedroom the range is $29,640 to $51,000. Presently, units are being rented on a first come, first serve basis.

Mixed-Use Rental

On July 24, 2008, the Lincoln park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD) hosted a press conference and open house recognizing the first US Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified mixed-use buildings constructed in the City of Newark – The Washington Street Mixed Use Buildings (Washington Row).

There are six 3800 square feet buildings, each offering two residential units and commercial space on the first floor of each building.

Rental prices start at $800 per month for the commercial spaces.  The one-bedroom prices start at $1300 and the two-bedroom with loft start at $1800 per month.  Presently, units are being rented on a first come, first serve basis.

  • 454 Washington – one bedroom unit, two bedroom with loft  and one commercial unit
  • 456 Washington – one bedroom unit, two bedroom with loft  and one commercial unit
  • 458 Washington – one bedroom unit, two bedroom with loft  and one commercial unit
  • 460 Washington – one bedroom unit, two bedroom with loft  and one commercial unit

The Washington Street Mixed Use Buildings offer sustainable features that include:

  • Energy Star windows and appliances
  • Bamboo flooring and cabinets,
  • Recycled concrete countertops
  • Low VOC paints
  • Low-flow water fixtures
  • Solar panels

These amenities benefit the homeowner and the environment as well as conserve energy, reduce energy costs and provide health benefits.
